A Basic Tileset

A Basic Tileset

This is a tileset I used in a 2D platformer I've been working on for a few years. It's a pretty standart "blocks of brown dirt with green grass on top" design, so I figured maybe I could save some other groups time by posting them here.

The original tileset was made up of 32x32 blocks, but the way I've arranged them you could probably also break it down into 16x16 and it'd still be fine, if you wanted more control over how stuff is placed or find the way I used such large chunks of shape annoying.

There are two versions: the original version, where the tiles form shapes that are slightly narrower or wider than they are tall, and a revised version where I stretched certain areas so that every block appears to be made of one to four 16-pixel squares. Use whichever one you think looks nicer.
