Double Transformation Brainteasers

I found this fun double transformation error tonight. If you were paying attention closely in class last week during my blocking demo, you noticed the control curves for one of Wendy's pigtails went flying off into space as soon as I started moving the root node of the rig around, which I solved by deleting them and deciding not to include my review of overlapping action that day after all.

I went back to try and figure out what was going on, and found the culprit. Here's what the hypergraph for a working control curve looks like:

it's just an orient constraint onto the underlying joint.

Notice how there's way too much stuff .... ? Particularly, note the connections from the skinCluster nodes into RhairControlShape. That shouldn't be there. I must have had it accidentally selected when skinning something else onto the skeleton. Selecting the curve and detaching the skin fixes the problem.
